Form and Flow is the term we have coined for our group Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation session. This is a small group movement class. Most of our gross motor control we learn as infants. This class focuses on the key concepts of developmental kinesiology. In other words, we revisit our early milestones from laying down to walking and everything in between.
DNS or Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation is based on these key principles. The Prague School of rehabilitation teaches DNS to trainers and practitioners all around the world. Practitioners of DNS are generally either Physiotherapists or Chiropractors although DNS qualified osteopaths, medical practitioners and other health professionals also exist. There are growing numbers of practitioners and trainers learning DNS.
Our classes begin with asking participants how they went from previous sessions. Inquiring whether they have been able to put the strategies into practice and whether they would like to focus on specific areas moving forward. These sessions will help you in learning DNS Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation on the Gold Coast.
Most participants are concurrently having private manual therapy and movement based rehabilitation. This is not a prerequisite. The classes are capped to eight in each group.
